About Fuzzy's
Fuzzy's Bar-B-Q, a North Carolina tradition since 1954, has earned a national reputation for good taste. The company has been featured in The New Yorker magazine, on television's PM Magazine and in numerous newspaper articles.

Made in authentic Piedmont North Carolina style, hickory-smoked with a secret tomato-based sauce. Fuzzy's barbecue has a mild but spicy taste that packs universal appeal. The restaurant is still using the same family recipe that the founder, T.H. "Fuzzy" Nelson served in 1954. The barbecue is still cooked fresh daily in pits the old fashion way.

In fact no less an authority than the U.S. Congress has rated it a taste test winner. When members judged barbecue in their annual Congressional Barbecue Bowl, they picked Fuzzy's for top honors.

Still cooked the old fashion way in authentic Piedmont North Carolina BBQ style, we slow cook our BBQ daily over Hickory-smoked wood and blend with our famous BBQ sauce recipe that founder, T.H. “Fuzzy” Nelson served in 1954  and today is still a “Nelson Family” owned Restaurant, operated by Fuzzy’s Son & Daughter, Phil & Debbie and Managed by life-long resident, Hilda Vestal who has been with Fuzzy’s for over 17 years.

In addition to our pit cooked barbecue, we offer a menu with a large selections of entrees to satisfy any appetite for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
